Ontario invites 4,500 candidates PNP 2025
Ontario Back-to-Back PNP Draws
Ontario began in September 2025 with an impressive surge in immigration demand, issuing two large batches of invites in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Between September 2 and 3, the province issued over 4,500 candidates in several streams, again substantiating itself as one of the most active Canadian provinces for immigrant admissions for the skilled workforce.
This round is characterized by the strategic deployment of immigration in filling labor gaps in the non-urban areas and contributing to the economic development of the non-GTA areas.

How the OINP Employer Portal has Transformed the Process
- The employer has to post the job offers on the portal.
- Only candidates linked to these employer-submitted job offers and who have an active Expression of Interest (EOI) are considered in OINP draws.
- Candidates who had put in EOIs before July 2 had to cooperate with their employer in relisting under the new system.
- It has simplified the procedure but ensured that the nominations by Ontario remain substantially close to actual labour market requirements.
