After receiving a nomination, candidates get additional 600 points increasing their chances of getting picked in the next EE draw and leading to faster processing of their application.
Prince Edward Island Critical Workers Stream
The Critical Worker Stream is an employer-driven initiative allowing the employers of Prince Edward Island to fill low-skilled positions they are unable to fill locally. Applicants working in PEI can apply under this stream except for employees in the trucking sectors recruited from other provinces of Canada.
Skilled Worker in Prince Edward Island Stream
The Skilled Worker in Prince Edward Island Stream allows candidates working with a PEI employer to apply for a nomination for permanent residency. This immigration stream facilitates employers of Prince Edward Island to fill high-skilled positions they are unable to fill locally.
Skilled Workers Outside Canada Stream
The Skilled Worker Outside Canada Stream is for high-skilled workers with the required skill set sought by an employer of Prince Edward Island. Business Start-Up and Entrepreneurship - Work Permit Stream
The work permit stream is for applicants ready to invest in and run a business in Prince Edward Island. The stream targets foreign nationals with experience in business ownership or extensive management who are willing to start a business in Prince Edward Island and ready to become Permanent Residents.
Prince Edward Island Ranking System
Applicants planning to settle in Prince Edward Island through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomination Program have to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Based on the profile a candidate is given scores and the highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for the periodic intakes.
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
