The Nova Scotia Occupations in Demand stream is meant for workers with a job offer in-demand field from an employer in Nova Scotia.
Currently, the following occupations are eligible for this stream:
- NOC 3413 (nurses aides, orderlies and patient service associates); or
- NOC 7511 (transport truck drivers)

Eligibility For Nova Scotia PNP
The pathways under the Nova Scotia Nominee Program have their eligibility criteria.

IELTS Requirements For Nova Scotia PNP
To be eligible for the Provincial Nominee Program of Nova Scotia, immigrants must demonstrate English language proficiency and valid IELTS results. A Candidate must score a minimum of CLB 7 across all sections to increase their chances of receiving a nomination from the province.
How To Complete The Nova Scotia PNP Application?
- Step 1: Provincial Nomination Form Online
Begin by filling out the online provincial nomination form.
- Step 2: Required Documents
Ensure thorough and accurate completion, and attach all required documents.
- Step 3: Language Proficiency and Education
Include copies of language proficiency test results and proof of education. If your educational credentials were obtained outside Canada, include an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
- Step 4: Creation of Express Entry Profile
Submit your application to the immigration office and enter the Express Entry Pool.
- Step 5: Submit Application
If nominated from the Express Entry Pool based on job offer and point system, authorities will contact you for further processing.
- Step 6: Proceed with Further Processing
Following this, Federal Skilled Trades candidates must undergo a medical examination and police clearance stage to progress to the subsequent process phase.
What Are The Charges For Nova Scotia PNP?
There are no application fees for the Nova Scotia Nomination.
However, the application for Canadian Permanent Residency incurs a fee of $550 for the primary applicant.
