Yukon Nominee Program
The Yukon Nominee Program offers pathways to foreign nationals to make their dream of becoming a Canadian permanent resident true.
The Yukon Territory operates the following immigration streams:
- Yukon Skilled Worker
- Yukon Express Entry
- Yukon Critical Impact Worker
- Yukon Business Nominee
- Yukon Community Pilot
The SINP offers a wide range of categories and sub-categories for potential immigration candidates. Most of the programs are not aligned with the Express Entry system meaning candidates need to apply for nomination without creating an Express Entry profile. Those in line with the federal Express Entry system allows candidates to get a provincial nomination and get an additional 600 point on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) leading to accelerated visa processing in the future Express entry draw.
Yukon Skilled Worker
The Yukon Skilled Worker is for foreign nationals with skilled work experience and a valid job offer from an employer in Yukon. Eligible candidates receive a provincial nomination and can directly for Canadian permanent Residency from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Yukon Express Entry
The Yukon Express Entry stream is for candidates with an active Express Entry profile and a valid job offer from an employer in Yukon. Eligible candidates receive accelerated processing on their immigration applications.
Yukon Critical Impact Worker
The Yukon Critical Impact Worker stream is for qualified workers with semi-skilled work experience and a valid job offer from an employer in Yukon. Eligible candidates receive a provincial nomination from Yukon and can directly apply for Canadian permanent residence from IRCC.
Yukon Business Nominee
The Yukon Business Nominee stream targets individuals with business and entrepreneurial experience interested in owning and operating a business in Yukon. To be eligible for this stream, applicants must have a minimum personal net worth of 500,000 CAD, besides meeting the other requirements of the program.
Yukon Community Pilot
The newly introduced Yukon Community Pilot (YCP) stream addresses Yukon’s economic and labour market needs. Candidates eligible under this scheme get a 2-year location-restricted open work permit.
Eligibility Requirements For The Yukon PNP
- Candidates must fulfill the minimum requirements for the Federal Skilled Worker Program.
- Candidates should possess adequate funds to support themselves and their families, whether or not accompanying them.
- Candidates must hold a valid, full-time, and permanent job offer from an employer in Yukon.
- Candidates should express a desire to reside in Yukon.
- Candidates must be accepted into the IRCC Express Entry pool, possessing an express entry profile number and a job seeker validation code.

Yukon Express Entry Canada Experience Class Requirements
- Candidates must meet the requirements for the Federal Canadian Experience Class.
- Candidates must be accepted into IRCC’s Express Entry pool.
- Candidates should possess an Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
- Candidates must have a valid, permanent, full-time job offer from an employer in Yukon.
- Candidates should express an intention to reside in Yukon territory.

The PR application cost for Yukon PNP is $0. But, the candidates going for the Federal Skilled Worker Program should pay an application fee of $1,325.
Processing Time For Yukon PNP:
The application processing timeframe for both the Skilled Worker Immigration Program and the Critical Worker Immigration Program under Yukon PNP goes from 12 weeks to 14 weeks. This timeframe might get extended in cases of a large number of PNP PR applications.
