Alberta Issues ITAs to Construction Workers in Latest Draw Under Express Entry Stream

The province of Alberta recently hosted its latest draw on July 25, 2025, to meet its employment needs through a targeted round. This targeted draw sent out ITAs (Invitations to Apply for a provincial nomination) to the eligible foreign candidates who held construction line experience. The draw showcases Alberta’s ongoing pursuit of addressing major skill gaps in important industries such as construction, aviation, agriculture, and healthcare.

This latest selection round took place on May 1, 2025, and focused exclusively on skilled workers outside Canada.

Invitations were sent out in the most recent round of the draw under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors, specifically targeting occupations related to construction. The draw issues a comprehensive list of 39 invitations to apply (ITAs) to the eligible applicants whose major occupations were in line with the in-demand construction professions.
