    Ontario Reopens OINP Selections With 2,000+ Invitations Issued in Just Two Days

    Ontario has resumed provincial nomination activity after a pause of more than two months, issuing 2,049 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on December 10 and December 11. The back-to-back draws focused on candidates already living in Canada and holding valid Ontario job offers, with strong emphasis on healthcare, education, skilled trades, and region-specific labour needs.

    These draws were conducted through Ontario’s Employer Job Offer (EJO) streams and targeted both occupation-based and region-based candidates.

    December 10 Draws: Occupation-Specific Selections Across Job Offer Streams

    On December 10, Ontario issued 1,133 ITAs across five draws under three OINP Employer Job Offer streams:

    The draws prioritized healthcare professionals, early childhood educators, and candidates eligible under the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot. All invited candidates were required to be residing in Canada and to have an active profile in Ontario’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system.
