Canada’s Express Entry system manages applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). You can obtain both qualifications at the same time, but you cannot choose which one you are invited to apply for.
Therefore, if you meet all three conditions, you will be invited to participate in the CEC. If you qualify for CEC and FSWP, you will be invited to apply for CEC. If you are eligible for the FSWP and FSTP, you will be invited to the FSWP.
The reason CEC is preferred is that these candidates are not required to provide proof of settlement funds, a requirement that many FSWP candidates who are also eligible for CEC do not wish to have. This requirement may be waived if the FSWP candidate has a valid job offer in Canada.
Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a new immigration category that allows certain foreign professionals with six years of specialized experience in Canada to apply for citizenship.
The CEC was created as part of the government’s efforts to increase the number of skilled immigrants who will come and invest in our economy, while also helping us meet our labor market needs.
Furthermore, According to the Ministry of Education, “Canadian Experience Class provides students with an opportunity to experience Canada and to integrate Canadian experiences into their educational program.
The non-academic Canadian experiences offered in the Canadian Experience Class can include visits to Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. The academic Canadian experiences offered in the Canadian Experience Class can consist of visits to a variety of Canadian museums, universities, and other cultural institutions.
To be eligible to take the Canadian Experience Class, students must complete the online application form. After completing the online form, students will be contacted by the Global Education Office to schedule a personal interview. If all goes well, the student will be offered a space in the class.
The Canadian Experience Class is an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in Canada
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (also known as the Federal Skilled Worker Class) is Canada’s flagship immigration program for workers, allowing the country to welcome tens of thousands of newcomers every year based on their ability to become established in Canada’s workforce.
In order to be eligible for the Federal Skilled Workers Program, there are different sets of criteria you must fulfill such as: Using the eligibility criteria outlined above, ensure that you meet the minimum requirements for the program for work experience, language proficiency, and education.
Plus, make sure you check your score on the FSW point’s grid. If you have determined that you are eligible and that you will get 67 or more points, then the next step is to start the application process.
A Canadian Federal Skilled Worker gets access to all Canadian working sectors and the benefits like pensions and claims without any restrictions.
Being a Canadian skilled worker or a federal skilled worker is highly beneficial. You can move permanently to Canada and become a permanent resident. After a few years, you can also apply for Canadian citizenship.
