Latest OINP Draw Issued ITAs to Human Capital Priority Candidates
On May 5, 2023, the province of Ontario held its most recent Provincial Nominee Program draw, and the first draw of May. The recent draw invited a total of 1,863 eligible candidates from the Human Capital Priorities Stream of the Ontario Immigrants Nominee Program or OINP.
The eligible CRS score range for the draw was 475-482. Candidates with the below NOC codes were only eligible and considered for the draw:
- NOC 20012 - Computer and information systems managers
- NOC 21211 - Data Scientists
- NOC 21223 - Database analysts and data administrators
- NOC 21230 - Computer systems developers and
- NOC 21231 - Software engineers and designers
- NOC 21232 - Software developers and programmers
- NOC 21233 - Web designers
- NOC 21234 - Web developers and programmers
- NOC 21311 - Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
Application Process of the Human Capital Priorities Stream Of OINP:
- Meet the requirements for the Canadian Experience Class or the FSW Class.
- Create a profile for Express Entry.
- Candidates in the Express Entry pool are found via OINP.
- Obtain a NOI from OINP.
- After receiving an NOI from Ontario, submit an application to the OINP under the Human Capital Priorities Stream within 45 calendar days.
- Candidates that are nominated receive an OINP Certificate of Nomination and a Nomination Approval Letter via email. The Express Entry procedure gives nominees 30 days to accept the nomination.
- Those whose nominations are approved receive 600 more CRS points and an ITA for permanent residency at a later draw from the pool, as well as the additional 600 CRS points.
- Within 60 days of getting the ITA, submit a permanent residence application to IRCC.
