PEI PNP Draw Invited 228 Candidates
The PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) held its second invitation round of the year on February 16, 2023. The provincial administration of PEI held the first PEI draw of 2023 last month. 228 skilled worker and entrepreneur applicants received Invitations to Apply (ITA) as a result of the February 16 PEI PNP draw.
Who received the invitations?
- Business Work Permit Entrepreneur: 6 ITAs with the lowest CRS cutoff score of 70.
- Labor & Express Entry: 222 invitations.
The Prince Edward Island PNP has invited applicants for business work permits and entrepreneurs 121 times in the past year while inviting applicants for labor and express entry 1,929 times.
- Labor & Express Entry invites over the past 12 months: 94% Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations over the past 12 months: 6%
PEI immigration in 2023
Applicants must build a profile in the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system in order to submit an application for a provincial nomination through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
The pool of qualified candidates is populated with eligible individuals, and each of them is given a CRS score based on their profile. At periodic draws, the top candidates are requested to submit an application.
With few exclusions, Prince Edward Island issues ITAs to qualified applicants each month. The requirements of the PNP’s application inventory and the previously published PEI draw schedule 2023 define the frequency, size, and date of the Prince Edward Island PNP‘s next draw projection.
