Prince Edward Island Invites 204 Candidates in a New Draw
The province of Prince Edward Island sent 204 skilled worker and entrepreneur applicants Invitations to Apply (ITA) under its latest PNP draw on the 20th of October, 2022.
Invitations were released under the Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact streams of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). While the rest 10 invitations went to candidates for the Business Impact category. And, 194 of the 204 invitations went to candidates for the Labour Impact and Express Entry.

In 2021, Prince Edward Island sent out 1,933 invitations in total, down from 1,955 in 2020.
1 764 of the 1,933 invites for 2021 were given to candidates with a labour impact and those who qualified for Express Entry, and the other 169 were given to applicants with a business impact.
The Express Entry Stream for Prince Edward Island
The Express Entry Streams for Prince Edward Island choose suitable applicants from the federal Express Entry pool for a provincial nomination. Receiving a nomination from a Canadian province practically ensures receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian immigration because a PNP nomination immediately adds 600 points to your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The labour impact stream for Prince Edward Island
The Labour Impact Stream in Prince Edward Island is intended for foreign nationals who have a legitimate work offer and the backing of a PEI company. The three classes that make up the PEI PNP immigration category provide a straightforward route to permanent residence in Canada.

Applicants are needed to build an account in the PEI Expression of Interest (EOI) system following the final registration in the Labour Impact stream.
Prince Edward Island’s Business Impact Stream
The Work Permit Stream, a special immigration route for entrepreneurs, is part of Prince Edward Island’s Business Impact Stream. Immigrants who wish to establish and operate a business in the province of Prince Edward Island can apply through the Work Permit Stream.
In order to start their company, authorised business-subclass immigrants are originally given a temporary work visa by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Business immigrants might well be qualified to apply for permanent residence in Canada if the requirements of the Performance Agreement agreed with the Government of Prince Edward Island are satisfied.
