485 Skilled Workers Receive ITAs in Latest BC PNP Draw
British Columbia, on October 2, 2025, conducted its recent draw under the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) and issued 485 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to applicants under the Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration streams together. This draw reflects B.C.’s recurrent efforts at luring highly qualified professionals as well as entrepreneurs with skills that can drive the economic development and innovation in the province.
Skills Immigration Stream
Under the Skills Immigration stream, 474 candidates were invited in this draw. Candidates were highly prioritized for having the potential for high economic value for B.C. Candidates were invited based on two overall criteria:
- Well Paying Jobs: 114 candidates with job offers in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 with at least $175,000/year or $90/hour salary.
- Point-Based Selection: At least 140 points within the Skills Immigration points grid for 360 candidates.
- These offers demonstrate B.C.'s intent to retain the top talent for the highly in-demand professions and compensate deserving applicants with great earning potential and superior professional experience.
- The applicants must have their registration finalized before the date of the draw in consideration for selection.
Subsequent invitations for selected candidates from high economic impact will possibly count on various eligibility parameters, as mentioned in section 7.3(a) of the Skills Immigration Program Guide.
Entrepreneur Immigration Stream
In Entrepreneur Immigration, there is a focus on inviting candidates who can invest and operate firms in British Columbia. In this draw:
- Total ITAs: 11 applicants were considered
- CRS cutoff: 123
The program aims at stimulating business growth, job creation, and long-term economic development within the province.
The applicants are ranked according to their business experience, investment preparedness, and economic value that they inject into B.C.’s economy.
2025 Entrepreneur Immigration invitations Draw List
The Government of British Columbia has officially resumed skilled immigration invitations under the BC PNP, after starting the year with entrepreneur-only draws. On May 8, 2025, the province held its first skilled worker draw, targeting applicants deemed to have the potential for significant economic contribution to the province.
A total of 94 candidates were invited to apply for provincial nomination in this highly selective round. This draw marks a pivotal shift in strategy, aligning with newly introduced limitations on British Columbia’s overall nomination capacity for 2025.

How the BC PNP Helps the Province’s Economy
The BC PNP remains a strategic resource for meeting labour demands and boosting economic activity. By focusing on both highly trained workers and entrepreneurs, this program makes competitive internationally.
The drawn candidates tend to fill positions in technology, health care, engineering, administration, and entrepreneurship, completing the economic ecosystem of the province even further.
