Understanding the Atlantic Immigration Program

To qualify, applicants must receive a valid job offer from a designated employer located in one of the participating provinces:
- New Brunswick
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
The job offer must receive provincial endorsement, and applicants must satisfy language proficiency, educational, work experience, and settlement fund requirements before becoming eligible for permanent residence.
Key Sectors Continue to Drive Immigration Selections
The broad range of occupations selected demonstrates the province’s strategy of using immigration to address labour shortages across multiple sectors while supporting economic growth and population expansion.
