245 ITAs Granted In Latest BC PNP Draw

On February 7th, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a brand-new invitation round. 245 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were distributed to applicants from the Skills Immigration stream in this most recent BC PNP draw. Invitations were distributed in the General and Targeted categories for the BC PNP draw on February 7th.

    CATEGORY 1: General Draw

ITAs are given to skilled workers and international graduates (including those who choose the EEBC option) who receive a minimum score of 102, and to entry-level and semi-skilled candidates who receive a minimum score of 82. There were a total of 207 participants in the general draw.

    CATEGORY 2: Targeted Draw

A targeted draw for skilled workers and international graduates had 38 applicants (including the EEBC option). 25 of the total ITAs were granted to Childcare: Early Childhood Educators & Assistants (NOC 20224), and 13 were from Healthcare. Here, the minimum marks required were 60 points.

How do the PNP in BC operate?

Invitations to Apply are often sent out by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to eligible nominees who can support and well improve the province’s economy. Candidates chosen from the registration pool were obliged to apply to the BC PNP, and on the basis of that application, they were given ITAs.
Applicants who are more likely to fill the gaps in the British Columbia labor market are ranked, chosen, and invited based on the information they gave during the registration process. The province’s government may grant ITAs with a specific economic sector in mind, promote regional immigration, or support strategic pilot projects.
For all categories covered by the BC PNP, the quantity and regularity of ITAs awarded in a draw are controlled to uphold a standard processing period for all the applicants.

The BC PNP is currently in charge of managing two streams:

With rare exclusions, the BC PNP of British Columbia issues ITAs to qualified applicants every month. The requirements of the BC PNP application inventory dictate the frequency, magnitude, and timing of the British Columbia PNP next draw projection.
