Latest Express Entry Draw This Week

In its most recent round of invitations, held on July 11th, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the invitation of 800 candidates through the Express Entry system. The draw, which was an all-program invitation round, saw candidates being selected from the pool of applicants based on their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores.
The minimum CRS score required for this particular draw was set at 505 points. The CRS is a points-based system that ranks candidates in the Express Entry pool based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and other additional criteria. The higher the CRS score, the better the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residency.

    Details of the draw:

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently conducted a series of Express Entry draws spanning from July 4th to July 7th. These draws saw invitations being extended to candidates with different qualifications and focused on specific categories.
The initial draw on July 4th came as a surprise when IRCC conducted an all-program draw, inviting 700 candidates to apply for permanent residency. This draw set a new record for the year 2023, requiring a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 511. It marked the highest CRS score requirement for an all-program draw thus far.
On July 5th, the second draw of the week took place as anticipated. This draw was the first-ever invitation round exclusively targeting candidates with work experience in select science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) occupations. IRCC invited 500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 486. Notably, IRCC had announced this specific draw a week in advance, creating excitement and anticipation among prospective candidates.
Continuing the trend, the third draw on July 6th focused on a specific group of professionals. IRCC invited 1,500 candidates in a category-based selection draw specifically targeting healthcare professionals. The minimum CRS score for this draw was set at 463, ensuring that qualified individuals in the healthcare sector had the opportunity to apply for permanent residency.
Concluding the eventful week, the fourth draw took place on July 7th. This draw targeted candidates with strong French-speaking abilities, with a particular emphasis on language skills. A total of 2,300 candidates were issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) with a minimum CRS score of 439. This draw aimed to acknowledge and encourage bilingualism in Canada’s immigrant population.
Express Entry is a highly popular and efficient immigration system used by the Canadian government to manage applications for three main economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
In each Express Entry draw, candidates are ranked based on their CRS scores, and those with the highest scores receive invitations to apply for permanent residency in Canada. These draws are conducted regularly by the IRCC to ensure a fair and transparent process for selecting candidates who meet the requirements for economic immigration to Canada.
The latest draw showcases the IRCC’s commitment to welcoming skilled foreign workers who can contribute to Canada’s economy and society. With a focus on attracting talented individuals from around the world, Canada aims to maintain its position as a global leader in immigration and provide opportunities for individuals to thrive and build a new life in the country.
