Ontario has invited 486 Express Entry candidates for provincial nomination through the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) stream draw on 6th October 2021.
The invited candidates would be eligible for provincial nomination upon meeting all the eligibility criteria of the program. The candidates would also receive an automatic 600 points for their overall score if they get the nomination in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program-aligned Express Entry system which targeted the Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores between 463 and 467.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program invited the 486 candidates for the following 18 occupation requirements in the province:
The invited candidates are required to have at least one year of working experience in any of the aforementioned occupations to get through the program. This makes it easier for the candidates to receive the Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence in Ontario.
So far, Ontario has drawn a good number of candidates both in 2020 and 2021 with a number of 6,716 and 4,851 invitations respectively.
