

Recent BC PNP Draw on 9th May Issued 155 ITAs for PR

BC PNP Draw
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program draw results were announced on May 9th. A total of 155 Invitations to Apply for the Canada PR were issued in this round.
Out of the 155 ITAs issued, 93 were awarded to qualified candidates in the targeted Tech category for Skilled Workers, and International Graduates (including the EEBC option). The minimal CRS threshold, in this case, was 90.
The remaining ITAs were issued to the candidates of the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option)- Childcare: Early childhood educators (34 ITAs) and assistants (NOC 42202), Healthcare (23 ITAs), & Other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104) (4 ITAs). The minimum CRS cutoff for all three categories was 60 points.
The Targeted category draws can take place on the basis of one or various mentioned factors:
- Education – level, and field of education and where it was completed
- Eligible professional designations in B.C.
- Language skills
- Occupation
- Duration and skill level of work experience
- Wage and/or skill level of job offer
- Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
- Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labor market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives
