Are You a Healthcare Professional? Apply for Alberta PNP Today!

In a move aimed at strengthening its health care system, Alberta has once again tapped into the federal Express Entry pool to invite qualified professionals through its Dedicated Health Care Pathway under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

The province conducted a targeted draw on June 3, 2025, inviting healthcare workers who hold valid job offers in Alberta.

New Invitations Issued for Health Professionals with Alberta Job Offers

The June 3rd draw saw 36 candidates receive invitations to apply for a provincial nomination through Alberta’s Express Entry stream for health care. This draw marks the sixth time in 2025 that Alberta has prioritized this sector through its Express Entry-linked immigration category.

Candidates were required to have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 60 to be considered in this round. This relatively low cut-off score, combined with a focus on job offers and regulated healthcare roles, makes this an appealing stream for eligible candidates seeking permanent residency in Alberta.
