

British Columbia Issued 161 ITAs in Latest Skills Immigration Draw

British Columbia Skills Immigration Invitations
On 6th June 2023, the province of British Columbia sent out a total of 161 Invitations To Apply for the Canada PR visa. This draw marked the commencement of BC PNP draws for the month of June, and selected the eligible applicants from various categories of the PNP.
The latest draw is also the 6th Skills Immigration Draw by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program in 2023.
Details of the draw:
Out of the total 161 ITAs issued, 112 were sent out to the eligible candidates of the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option), where the targeted category was Tech. The minimum CRS score for this stream was 90.
The next 24 ITAs belonged to the candidates from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option) stream and the targeted category here was Childcare: Early childhood educators and Assistants (NOC 42202). However, the minimum CRS score requirement for this stream was 60.
21 out of the 161 ITAs were issued to the applicants from the Healthcare targeted category of the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option) stream. Here the CRS cutoff was 60 points.
The remaining 4 ITAs were issued to the applicants of the Other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104) category from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option) stream. Here the CRS cutoff was 60 points.

British Columbia has a high demand for various skilled occupations. Hence, it has a couple of streams in its PNP program that allows the skilled workers to immigrate to Canada from various parts of the world.
The Express Entry BC (EEBC) and BC PNP Skills Immigration (SKI) streams are designed for workers or international graduates who possess the knowledge, training, and/or experience necessary for B.C. high-demand occupations.
