British Columbia Latest Skills Immigration Draw
The province of British Columbia announced its new Skills Immigration draw, where a total of 211 Invitations to Apply for permanent residency were issued to many categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). This draw took place on 13th June 2023.
This is the second Skills Immigration draw of the month of June and the 6th of its kind in 2023.
Details of the draw:

- Total ITAs issued: 211
- General Draw- Tech Occupations
Out of the 211 ITAs, 170 were issued to the eligible candidates of the following categories:

Skills Immigration of British Columbia
The expanding economy of British Columbia requires knowledgeable and experienced people. Workers in professional, management, technical, trade, or other skilled occupations can get permanent residency in British Columbia through the Skilled Worker stream.
To be eligible for this stream, you need to:
- Have accepted a full-time, indefinite work offer from a B.C. company (the offer cannot be temporary or have a set expiry date).
- Be in a skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) must be involved in the position.
- Possess a minimum of two years of full-time (or full-time equivalent) work experience in any skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, or 2) to be qualified to perform the functions of the position.
- Demonstrate your ability to support yourself and your dependents, possess lawful immigrant status in Canada for NOC TEER 2 or 3 employment, and satisfy the language proficiency standards.
- Have a salary offer that is consistent with the occupation's B.C. wage rates.
