Latest British Columbia PNP Draw Results Announced
On April 25, 2023, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a fresh skills immigration draw. There were 168 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) distributed to qualified applicants in the BC PNP pool as part of this most recent draw.
ITAs were distributed for the following categories of Canada PR applications in the fourth BC PNP draw of April.
CATEGORY 1: Targeted Draw (Tech)
Tech
- Total number of ITAs: 113
- Targeted Stream: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
- Minimum CRS score: 90
CATEGORY 2: Targeted Draw (Childcare and Healthcare)
Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202)
- Total number of ITAs: 28
- Targeted Stream: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
- Minimum CRS score: 60
Healthcare
- Total number of ITAs: 27
- Targeted Stream: Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option)
- Minimum CRS score: 60
BC PNP’s Skills Immigration Category
The British Columbia (BC) PNP Skills Immigration category is intended to draw skilled and semi-skilled people into high-demand professions. The following subcategories are included in this category:
Skilled Worker:
Workers with post-secondary education or training and job experience in a skilled occupation fall under the heading “Skilled Worker.”
Healthcare Professionals:
People in this subcategory must have experience working in one of the authorized healthcare occupations in British Columbia.
International Graduate:
This subcategory is for foreign graduates with a job offer from a BC business who have finished their studies at a designated post-secondary institution in Canada.
International Post-Graduate:
International graduates who have earned a master’s or doctoral degree in the natural, applied, or health sciences from a recognized institution in British Columbia and have a job offer from a BC business are eligible for this subcategory.
Entry Level and Semi-Skilled:
This sub-category is for workers who have a job offer from a BC business and meet the minimal standards for the sub-category. These occupations include tourism, hospitality, food processing, long-haul trucking, and so on.
