Manitoba PNP latest draw invites 150 apply for Canadian Permanent Residency

The province of Manitoba has successfully conducted its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, inviting 150 eligible candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR). The draw focused on two key immigration streams: the International Education Stream and the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream.

    Draw details:

These LAAs were extended to candidates who demonstrated that they met the eligibility requirements for this stream, which primarily targets international graduates from Manitoba institutions with skills that meet the province’s labor market needs.

Meanwhile, in the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream, 24 LAAs were issued. These candidates were directly invited by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest-ranked candidate invited in this category had a ranking score of 727.

Notably, out of the 150 LAAs issued in this draw, 21 were given to candidates who had declared a valid Express Entry profile number and a job seeker validation code, enhancing their chances of a swift immigration process through the federal Express Entry system.

    What is Manitoba PNP?

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is a key immigration pathway designed to attract skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs to Manitoba. Through the PNP, Manitoba can nominate individuals who meet the province’s economic and labor market needs for Canadian Permanent Residency.

    How does it Work?

The process begins with interested candidates submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP. Candidates are scored and ranked based on various factors such as work experience, education, language proficiency, and ties to Manitoba. Those with the highest scores, or who meet specific strategic needs of the province, receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA). With an LAA, candidates can then submit a full application to the MPNP for a provincial nomination. Once nominated, candidates can apply to the federal government for Permanent Residency, with their nomination significantly boosting their chances of approval.
