Ontario Announces New Draw and Invites Only Skilled Trades Candidates
A new draw was announced on 18th May from the province of Ontario. It was a Provincial Nominee Program draw that invited a total of 1,694 candidates to submit their Canada PR application.

The candidates belonged solely to the Skilled Trades stream of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program or OINP. The eligible CRS Score bracket for the recent draw was 250-489.
The previous draw held under this category was on March 23, 2023. It had invited a total of 746 candidates and the eligible CRS score bracket was 250-48
This draw targeted the candidates under the following NOC categories or codes:
- NOC 72010 - Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations
- NOC 72011 - Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades, and telecommunications occupations
- NOC 72012 - Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades
