Ontario PNP Draw Invites 95 French-Speaking Candidates

Ontario PNP Draw Invites 95 French-Speaking Candidates on 25th July
In a recent Express Entry draw conducted by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on the 25th of July, the province invited a select group of skilled workers who demonstrated proficiency in the French language. A total of 95 candidates were issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for a provincial nomination in this draw.
The draw, which was open to candidates in the Federal Express Entry pool, exclusively targeted French-speaking applicants as part of Ontario’s efforts to enhance Francophone immigration to the province. The candidates invited to this draw showcased their language abilities by providing valid language test results demonstrating their competency in French.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score range for the invited candidates in this general draw was between 321 and 374 points. The CRS score serves as a ranking system to assess the eligibility of candidates in the Express Entry pool based on factors such as age, education, work experience, and language proficiency.
Details of the draw:
- Date of the draw: 25th July 2023
- Total NOIs: 95
- CRS range: 321 - 374
- Second draw: 159 NOIs, CRS 458-462, Targeted Health Draw
The OINP, through its Express Entry-linked streams, regularly conducts draws to select candidates who have the potential to contribute to Ontario’s labor market and economic growth. By issuing provincial nominations to successful candidates, the OINP enables them to apply for Canadian permanent residency through the Express Entry system.
Ontario, being one of Canada’s most populous provinces and a prominent economic hub, attracts numerous skilled immigrants seeking ample opportunities and a high quality of life. The province’s proactive approach towards French-speaking candidates further strengthens its commitment to promoting linguistic diversity and inclusivity.
The OINP’s decision to conduct this exclusive draw for French-speaking candidates highlights the significance of language skills in the Canadian immigration system. Proficiency in French, along with English, opens up additional pathways for prospective immigrants to various provinces and territories across Canada.
Express Entry candidates who possess strong French language skills and meet the eligibility criteria may still have opportunities to receive invitations through future OINP draws, as well as draws conducted by other provinces that prioritize French-speaking candidates.
As Canada continues to embrace immigrants from diverse linguistic backgrounds, the OINP’s emphasis on French-speaking candidates demonstrates the nation’s commitment to fostering multiculturalism and enriching the social fabric of its communities.
Prospective candidates interested in applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program or other Canadian immigration pathways are encouraged to assess their eligibility and stay up-to-date with the latest draw results and program updates to seize the opportunity for a better future in the Great White North.
