    Latest Express Entry Draw

IRCC conducted its first Express Entry draw of June, which is also the 14th draw of the year. This draw was conducted on 8th June 2023 and invited a total of 4,800 eligible candidates from all the categories of Express Entry and the linked Provincial Nominee Program.
This draw had a CRS cutoff of 486 points and being an all-program draw invited the candidates from the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), & the Provincial Nominee Program (PNPs).
If more than one candidate had scored the same lowest score, the submission time and date of those applicants were taken into consideration while issuing the Invitations to Apply for the Canada PR visa.

History of Express Entry draws in 2023

Through 2023, Canada’s Express Entry has developed a solid pattern.
IRCC held four program-specific Express Entry draws in February, in contrast to the draws held in January, which followed a pre-pandemic practice of inviting all-program candidates every two weeks. The first FSWP program-specific draw took place in February as well.
Three draws were held in February, and one draw was held per week in March. Throughout March, around 21,000 hopefuls received invitations. In terms of ITAs issued in a single month, this was the second-highest total in Express Entry history.
The pre-pandemic schedule of one all-program draw every two weeks was resumed in April. In contrast, there were two Express Entry drawings in May, one for participants in the Provincial Nominee Program and the other for participants in all programs.
Since the start of 2023, Canada has completed consecutive Express Entry draws with greater ITAs and historically low CRS point totals. In the upcoming years, it’s probable that IRCC will keep trying to entice qualified immigrants to Canada in order to help close the country’s labour shortages.
