589 ITAs Issued In the Latest PNP-Specific Express Entry Draw on 10th May
New PNP Express Entry draw
On May 10, 2023, a brand-new Express Entry-PNP-specific draw took place. The fourth PNP-specific Express Entry draw of the year was the 12th overall. In this Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) specific draw, 589 invitations to apply (ITAs) were sent out to qualified candidates.
The CRS cutoff, however, was lower than the previous draw. Only 691 CRS points were necessary for the candidates in the most recent draw to be considered for the PR.
On March 1, the most recent PNP-specific Express Entry draw was held, and 667 applicants were invited. Since then, candidates from all Express Entry programs have been considered in all draws.
Prior Express Entry dates for 2023
Following the April 26 draw, 3,500 applicants with CRS scores of 483 were invited.
On April 12, 3,500 applicants with CRS scores of 486 were also invited by IRCC. This draw’s candidate count is half that of March, when the IRCC held four draws in a row and invited more than 21,000 candidates, including 7,000 in three of those draws.
In terms of overall invitations, March saw the second-highest number in the Express Entry timeline. Only a draw in February 2021, in which 27,332 CEC candidates received an ITA, crosses it.
A tentative restoration to the regular draw timetable occurs in April. Express Entry draw results are announced typically on Wednesdays every other week until late 2022 and entirely through March 2023. Weekly draws were held throughout March.
