Latest All-Program Express Entry Draw, CRS Score Drops to 481

March 29, 2023, saw another all-program Express Entry draw of the year. This draw happened for the third consecutive week this year.
The draw invited a total of 7,000 eligible candidates and granted them the Invitation to Apply for Canadian Permanent Residency, through the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The draw had a cut-off of 481 Comprehensive Ranking System score (CRS score). All the eligible candidates were considered by the IRCC for this draw.
Since the Express Entry draw on December 23, 2020, the CRS score threshold for an all-program draw was the lowest in today’s draw (back then, the score was 468). The IRCC has invited a total of 21,000 eligible applicants over the last two weeks, causing the CRS to drop to 481 today.

    Express Entry

The Canadian government primarily uses Express Entry to manage applicants for immigration under the economic category.
You can post your profile to the IRCC website if you are qualified for at least one of the three Express Entry programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
Their CRS score is determined by a number of human capital factors, including their age, education, language proficiency, and work experience. Every two weeks, the IRCC conducts Express Entry drawings and sends ITAs to the top-scoring applicants.
However, IRCC has not maintained a consistent draw schedule in recent months. As an illustration, it held two draws in quick succession on March 15 and 23, which tied for the biggest all-program draws ever.
Under each of these draws, 7,000 Express Entry applicants altogether were invited (14,000 candidates in total). When IRCC decides to issue ITAs to applicants from all three Express Entry programs, this is known as an “all-program draw.”
