    Latest Express Entry Draw

In the latest Express Entry draw on August 1, 2023, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) extended invitations to a larger pool of candidates. Specifically, 2,000 candidates were invited to apply under the all-program category, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 517.

    Details of the draw:

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Here is an overview of the most recent Express Entry results:

July 11-12 During this period, IRCC invited 3,800 candidates to apply for permanent residency under a category-based selection draw aimed at French-speaking candidates. The minimum CRS score required was 375, making it the lowest CRS score for any Express Entry draw in the current year.

On July 11, there were 800 candidates invited in an all-program draw, with a minimum CRS score of 505.

July 4-7 The first week of July witnessed a notable occurrence in Express Entry history, as ITAs (Invitations to Apply) were issued on four consecutive days.
The July 4 draw was an unexpected all-program draw in which 700 candidates were invited, and a relatively high minimum CRS score of 511 was required. It stands as the highest CRS score of any all-program draw in 2023 so far.
On July 5, IRCC conducted a previously announced category-based selection draw specifically for candidates with work experience in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) occupations. This draw welcomed 500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 486, marking the first draw for STEM candidates since category-based selection draw categories were introduced on May 31.
The draw on July 6, which was also anticipated, invited 1,500 candidates under the category-based selection for healthcare professionals, with a minimum CRS score of 463. This draw represented the second round of invitations for this category.
On July 7, IRCC issued 2,300 invitations to Express Entry candidates with strong French-speaking abilities, and a minimum CRS score of 439. It is worth noting that French-speaking abilities are the only category-based selection criteria that are not occupation-specific.
June 27-28 In the last week of June, IRCC conducted two draws. The first was an all-program draw that invited 4,300 candidates, with a minimum CRS score of 486 on June 27.
The following day, the first-ever category-based selection round of invitations took place. IRCC invited 500 candidates with work experience in select healthcare occupations, with a minimum CRS score of 476.
These Express Entry draws and invitations represent the ongoing efforts by IRCC to manage immigration applications and invite potential candidates who meet the criteria for permanent residency in Canada.
