    British Columbia Skills Immigration Stream

On February 14th, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held a fresh invitation round. 237 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were granted to eligible applicants from the Skills Immigration stream in this new BC PNP draw.
Invitations were distributed under a single category: Tech and Targeted—in the BC PNP draw on February 14.

    CATEGORY 1: Tech Draw

With ITAs being given to Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including the EEBC option) with a minimum score of 83, there were a total of 183 candidates in the Targeted Draw: Tech.

    CATEGORY 2: Targeted Draw

(including the EEBC option). Twenty of the ITAs issued were for healthcare, five were for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104), and 29 were for childcare: early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202). A 55 was necessary as a minimum.
Note this! Applicants who are more inclined to fill the gaps in the British Columbia labor market are ranked, selected, and invited on the basis of the information they provided during the registration process. The provincial government might provide ITAs with a specific economic sector to target, promote regional immigration or support strategic pilot projects.

How does the BC PNP operate?

A crucial step in supporting and maintaining British Columbia’s economy is the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
The BC PNP is currently in charge of managing two streams:

The points earned via the BC PNP points calculator are used to rank and evaluate British Columbia entrepreneur visa applicants. Age, educational experience, professional experience, language ability, adaptability, and spouse sponsorship are just a few of the criteria used to determine how many points are awarded.

An Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the BC PNP is sent to the eligible candidates with the top CRS marks.
