    Nova Scotia Latest Entrepreneur Draw Results Out​

    The province of Nova Scotia conducted its latest draw on November 1. It was a new Entrepreneur draw that issued a total of 12 invitations through two sub-categories. These were included in the Nova Scotia Nominee Program. The recent draw was the province’s first business immigration category draw in the last 11 months.

    Eligibility of the Nova Scotia’s Entrepreneur Stream​

    Applicants with prior experience in senior management or business ownership should apply for the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream. They must be residents of Nova Scotia, buy an existing firm or launch a new one, and be actively involved in running the company on a daily basis.
    Before applying for Canada PR under this stream’s eligibility requirements, candidates are first given a temporary work visa. This is done after they have owned the company for a minimum of a year. Applicants in the pool are invited to apply via the Expression of Interest (EOI) format used by the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream.

    Who qualifies for the International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream in Nova Scotia?​

    The Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream, like the Entrepreneur Stream, is geared toward recent graduates from a provincial institution or college. Additionally, candidates must have created or acquired a Nova Scotia firm and run it on a Post Graduate Work Permit for a full year.
    If applicants plan to reside in Nova Scotia, they are encouraged to apply for permanent residence in Canada. Similar to the Entrepreneur Stream, this stream employs an Expression of Interest (EOI) format for all applications.

    To qualify, you must:​

    One of several Canadian provinces that switched from a “straight road to Canada for affluent immigrants” to a “two-step immigration scheme” that is specifically targeted at potential entrepreneurs looking to start enterprises and obtain permanent status. Nova Scotia is one of these provinces.
