Candidates belonging to the Skilled Worker Overseas stream of the Expression of Interest (EOI) stream were only considered by the IRCC if they had gotten a direct invitation from the provincial government of Manitoba as part of a Strategic Recruitment plan or if they possessed an IRCC Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.

Candidates were only eligible to get a nomination under the MPNP if their Express Entry profile was active at the moment of application assessment.

Candidates who have achieved the Manitoba points calculator’s minimum score criterion but have not yet received an LAA may be eligible if:

(1). They claim to have passed an official English or French language competency test, however, they haven’t given a genuine “Test Number” or 

(2). They claimed to have gotten an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Strategic Initiative, but they were not able to supply a legitimate “Invitation Number.”

Also, the eligible candidates who were invited to the draw were having a job in a regulated, in-demand occupation in Manitoba and also had a valid work permit for the territory.
