Latest Quebec RSWP Draw Invites 998 Candidates

A new Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) draw was held on November 24 by the Minister of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI).
The draw was intended for individuals who fit the qualifications for the Quebec Immigration In-Demand Occupations list and had a legitimate offer of employment outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community.
998 skilled employees received invitations to submit applications for permanent selection following the draw on November 24. Applicants are required to have marks of at least 603 points on their accounts in the Arima Expression of Interest (EOI) system.
This is the first draw in November and the thirteenth draw that Quebec has conducted in 2022.

    Next step of the process

Individuals who were selected in this invitation round to submit for a permanent section now have 60 days to present an application form. Applicants with a complete application can anticipate a processing time of six months, assuming that the provincial government obtains the necessary material, which comprises applications, documentation, and processing costs.

    RSWP qualifying requirements in Quebec

Invitations for permanent acceptance are issued in accordance with one or more of the following criteria, as established by the ministerial order that is announced in the Gazette officielle du Québec:

    Requirements for Human Capital

    The Quebec labor market's requirements

    Spouse-related criteria (if applicable)

    Other standards

The aforementioned requirements may receive a score. The individuals in the pool of expressions of interest will next be categorized using the scores.

    RSWP immigration to Quebec

The Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) in Quebec was created for applicants who wished to live and work there permanently.
Comparable to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) for Express Entry, applicants for the RSWP must indicate their interest in relocating to Quebec by filling out an online Expression of Interest (EOI) form.
Periodically, applicants are chosen from the pool by the Ministry of Immigration, Frenchization, and Integration (Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration), which then offers them to be considered for permanent selection in a later invitation round.
