On January 26, 2023, Manitoba PNP held another Expression of Interest (EOI) draw for the month, releasing 336 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to applicants under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

LAAs were issued to candidates in three MPNP streams during the January 26th EOI draw #166:

    Skilled Workers Overseas 23 713

The EOI draw on December 26th is an extension of Manitoba holding draws with greater ITAs and lower CRS scores. Manitoba’s back-to-back draws are a clear indication that the province intends to expand the number of candidates eligible for a provincial nomination under MPNP-managed streams.

    Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

Manitoba became the first Canadian province to maintain a Provincial Nominee Program, which began in 1998. (PNP). The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) currently oversees five key streams aimed at “supporting and sustaining” the province’s economy.
Candidates seeking a provincial nomination must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP. Applicants answer a series of online questions based on their answers and receive EOI Ranking Points in the Manitoba PNP points calculator. Their information is then managed to enter into a pool of all qualified candidates. Manitoba then invites the pool’s top scorers to send a full application to the MPNP on a routine basis.
With a few exceptions, the MPNP issues ITAs to qualified candidates on a monthly basis. The needs of the MPNP application stock influence the frequency, volume, and date of the Manitoba PNP next draw prediction
