Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) recently demonstrated its commitment to welcoming newcomers by issuing a total of 558 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in its latest draw. These LAAs were extended to eligible candidates from three distinct streams, reflecting Manitoba’s diverse immigration opportunities. The CRS cutoff ranged from 595 to 724 points.
The Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, designed to attract individuals with existing employment in the province’s high-demand occupations, played a pivotal role in this draw. Additionally, the International Education Stream, catering to international graduates who meet specific eligibility criteria, and the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, which targets candidates directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, contributed to the successful issuance of LAAs.
In a recent draw held by Manitoba Immigration Pathways, aspiring immigrants under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream received encouraging news. This draw, conducted on September 7, 2023, employed an occupation-specific selection approach. Applicants with current employment in Manitoba within occupations that align with high labor market demands, as per data published by Statistics Canada, were eligible for consideration.
Profiles that were not selected in the occupation-specific selection process were considered in the subsequent draw:
In addition to the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, the draw also extended invitations to candidates who declared meeting the eligibility requirements for the International Education Stream:
Under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative were considered:
Of the 558 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 158 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
These results showcase Manitoba’s commitment to attracting skilled workers and international graduates, strengthening its workforce, and contributing to the province’s economic growth. Aspiring immigrants are encouraged to explore their eligibility and consider Manitoba as their pathway to Canadian immigration.
