Manitoba PNP Issued 308 LAAs to Candidates
On February 9, 2023, Manitoba PNP conducted a fresh Expression of Interest (EOI) draw and distributed 308 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to applicants from three streams overseen by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Candidates who got the ITAs:
- Manitoba issued 221 LAAs to candidates from the skilled workers with a minimum score of 720.
- 55 LAAs were granted to the candidates from the international education stream.
- 32 LAAs for "Skilled Worker Overseas" require a minimum score of 709.
- 33 Letters of Advice (LAAs) were given to applicants who could present a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code out of the 308 total Letters of Advice distributed in the most recent Manitoba draw.
In the most recent Manitoba draw, 32 Letters of Advice were issued to candidates who presented a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.
The specifics of this EOI draw are as follows:
Date | Stream | Letters of Advice to Apply | Score of Lowest Ranked Candidate |
---|---|---|---|
February 09, 2023 | Skilled Workers Manitoba | 221 | 720 |
International Education Stream | 55 | - | |
Skilled Workers Overseas | 32 | 709 |

The Manitoba draws with low score criteria will continue with the EOI draw on February 9. On January 26, the preceding EOI draw was placed.
- Candidates from Manitoba's skilled workers needed at least a 726, and those from overseas skilled workers needed at least a 713.
The fact that Manitoba has performed back-to-back draws with higher ITAs and lower scores shows that the government intends to expand the number of candidates who are eligible to acquire a provincial nomination under MPNP-managed streams.
2023 immigration draws under the MPNP
Manitoba was the very first Canadian province to launch its Provincial Nominee Program, which commenced in 1998. Currently, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) oversees five major streams that are intended to meet the province’s economy’s needs.
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba
- International Education
- Skilled Worker Overseas
- Manitoba Business Investor
- Modern Community Driven
Candidates must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP in order to be considered for a provincial nomination. Candidates respond to a series of questions online and, based on their responses, are awarded EOI Ranking Points in the Manitoba PNP points calculator. The pool of all qualified candidates is then populated with their profiles. The top-scoring applicants are then regularly invited by Manitoba to submit a complete application to the MPNP.
With certain exclusions, MPNP sends ITAs to qualified candidates each month. The requirements of the MPNP application inventory determine the frequency, size, and timing of the Manitoba PNP next draw projection.
