Manitoba PNP Issued 526 LAAs in Recent Draw on 18th May

On May 18, 2023, Manitoba released the results of its most recent Provincial Nominee Program draw, inviting a total of 526 applicants for PR.
Details of the draw:
Category 1: Skilled Workers In Manitoba Category
- The qualified applicants of the occupation-specific selection sub-category received a total of 287 Letters of Advice to Apply(LAA) out of the 526 total Letters of Advice to Apply for Canada PR. In this case, a CRS score of 610 points was required to be qualified for the LAA.
- 191 LAAs were submitted for the All-Occupations subcategory, where the required CRS score was 701 points.
In this draw, the following minor categories of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 were taken into account:
- 7330 - Transport and transit drivers
Category 2: International Education Category
- Here, the qualified candidates received a total of 21 LAAs. The required CRS score, however, was not mentioned.
Category 3: Skilled Worker Overseas Category
- To the qualified candidate under this category, a total of 27 LAAs were issued. In addition, a CRS score of 721 points was required to qualify.
Expressions of Interest from Skilled Worker Overseas applicants were only taken into consideration if they met one of the following criteria:
- They received a direct invitation from the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative,
- They had a current Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code
Lastly, out of the 526 Letters of Advice or LAAs provided, the remaining 225 were given to qualified applicants who had disclosed their legitimate Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
The number of EOI profiles for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program continues to surpass the program’s capacity due to the program’s high level of demand. Since the EOI system was reactivated, draw scores have been higher than in previous drawings.
