Manitoba PNP Releases New Draw Results In November- 400 ITAs Issued

Manitoba PNP Releases New Draw Results In November
In November, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its initial invitation round, signaling a significant stride in the province’s efforts to attract skilled workers and international graduates. The draw, held on November 02, 2023, issued invitations to 400 candidates across the three MPNP streams: Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas.
Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #198
The size and frequency of the draw are determined by the MPNP’s application backlog, typically occurring weekly. The latest Manitoba EOI draw details are as follows:
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
- Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued: 204
- Lowest-ranked candidate's ranking score invited: 785
International Education Stream
- LAAs issued to profiles meeting eligibility requirements: 131
Skilled Worker Overseas
- LAAs issued to profiles directly invited under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative: 65
- Lowest-ranked candidate's ranking score invited: 708
Out of the 400 LAAs issued, 60 went to candidates with valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker validation codes.
The November 02nd draw is a continuation of Manitoba’s strategy of conducting invitation rounds with higher Invitations to Apply (ITAs) and lower scores. This consecutive approach emphasizes the province’s commitment to expanding the pool of candidates eligible for provincial nomination under its diverse streams.
Understanding Manitoba's EOI System
The Manitoba PNP’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system serves as a pathway for immigrants seeking to live and work in Manitoba. Here’s an overview of how the system operates:
- Create an EOI: Begin by creating an online profile in the Manitoba PNP system, providing information about your age, education, work experience, language skills, and more.
- Scoring System: Your profile receives a score based on the information provided. Higher scores enhance your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination.
- Draws: Regular draws are conducted to invite candidates with the highest scores to apply for nomination.
- Nomination: If your application is successful, Manitoba may nominate you to the Canadian government, which will then decide on permanent residence.
It’s crucial to note that specific requirements and scoring criteria may evolve over time, adapting to the changing needs of the province. Generally, candidates with higher scores and skills in professions listed on the Manitoba In-demand Occupation List have better chances of receiving an invitation for Canada PR.
