Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced another Express Entry draw, marking the 16th in 2024.
In the latest draw on April 23, 2024, 2,095 candidates received invitations in a General draw, necessitating a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 529 for eligibility.

If you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you will be notified in your account about the program you are invited to apply for and the subsequent steps. Ensure to provide accurate proof of information matching your Express Entry profile and pay the mandatory Canada PR application fee.
If You Were Not Invited to Apply
For those who did not receive an ITA, your profile remains active for 12 months. Avoid creating a new profile until your existing one expires.

Categories Finalised for Express Entry Draws in 2024
On May 31, 2023, IRCC finalised six new categories for Express Entry draws:
- French-language proficiency
- Healthcare occupations
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) occupations
- Trade occupations
- Transport occupations
- Agriculture and Agri-Food occupations
IRCC employs the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates in the Express Entry pool and invite them for Canada PR visa application. Higher CRS scores enhance the chances of receiving invitations.
