Healthcare Occupations in Latest Express Entry Invitation Round
Canada has once again turned its focus toward addressing workforce shortages in the healthcare and social services sectors through the Express Entry system. On June 4, 2025, 500 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency were issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to candidates in these essential fields.
To be eligible for this round, candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 504 and needed to have submitted their Express Entry profile before 6:47 a.m. UTC on March 31, 2025.
This is the second targeted draw for healthcare and social services occupations in 2025, underscoring Canada’s commitment to filling critical positions in its healthcare system and related services.
